Ultima: Runes of Virtue II
This particular Ultima, like its prequel, bears no place within the main series, and has quite a different interface. The Avatar is also absent, but there are many familiar faces in this adventure. My impression of the Runes of Virtues games is that their target audience is slightly younger. Perhaps this makes sense, given that the average age of an Ultima fan would have at this point been approaching 30. This game came out for the two prevalent Nintendo systems at the time, Super NES and Gameboy.
